Last day of school and other stuff

Today is the last day of school!

There was a feeling of anticipation in the air this morning,
along with the rain.

When today is done I'll officially have a SENIOR,
a seventh grader and a second grader.
WOW!

Colton and a bunch of his friends are planning on
floating down the river in town with tubes if the weather
gets nice and according to the forecast it should be
about 70ish when they get out at 1p. That's not hot enough for
me to get into any river, but a bunch of 17 year olds will
probably think that temp is plenty warm.

Then they are going to do a bonfire somewhere.
The hubby has invited them all here, but I don't know if
they will come here or not for it.

Chyann and Caden are having friends over tomorrow
to go swimming and want to put the tent up in the backyard.
I don't know that we'll do that, since no one is spending
the night and I'm not interested in the tent, that we've only
used once, becoming a playhouse for the summer.

This is Jennifer Rain's daddy.
His name is Sonny.
He is a registered Quarter Horse.

He belongs to some of our friends.

These pictures were taken back in 2008
and you would not believe how much more muscular
he is now. Wish I'd have had my camera with me the
other day when I saw him so I could have gotten some
new pictures.

Chyann sure has grown a lot in the last two years too.

Seeing Sonny now makes me wonder how much bigger
or fuller Jenny is going to get.

Happy weekend to you!

The horse photos are beautiful.

One more school year for Colton and then he will be moving on. Be ready mom!

Time sure does fly by fast! Did he float the creek?
