Random crap

Socks.
MOO

First off

I had that phone interview today and I think it went real well.
The recruiter told me I was well qualified for the job and would be hearing from them to set up an appointment to interview with the hiring manager within a week.
fingers crossed

We've got some serious melting going on.
Love it!

I use to get superb cell service here at home.
Our contract ran out about a month ago and since then I get the worst freaking service EVER!
Pisses me off!
I went into the local service office and asked about it, even going so far as to suggest that the reason I now get shitty service was because I'm out of contract.
They were horrified that I'd suggest such a thing.
But let me see your phone and I'll scan for new cell towers for you and if that doesn't work I suggest new phones.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!
I think I've mentioned before that I'm cheap.
There are no free phones, 30 bucks each -we have four - to reactivate and then an addition 50 bucks a month?@?
I think not.
GRRRRR
It's a no win situation.

"I suggest new phones" GAHHHHH.
Is there another, competing service provider? That would just piss me off.

It looks too cold at your house. Maybe that's why your phones aren't happy. ;)

Congrats on the interview! Fingers crossed it turns out the way you want :)

Cell phone contracts make me absolutely crazy. I went through three different services in SD, not because I switched, but because they kept getting bought out and every time it was, "you have to get a new phone/plan because your old one won't work." Grrr! Down here the house is limestone block with a tinned roof, and my phone works in one spot... on top of the refrigerator. Or outside. Finally figured out I can use the bluetooth earpiece to go handsfree inside as long as I keep the phone on top of the fridge.

And is it just me, or do the newer phones get less signal and go dead a lot quicker?

I hate cell phone contracts, in fact, I hate the cell phone companies!!! It's such a money pit isn't it?

Hey...you had an interview? Good for you Kellie girl! I'll be waiting to hear something and fingers crossed!

sadly that sounds about right. I went out of contract about the time we moved i think and I didn't get the best of signal, of course no one does at our house... It's crazy that they focus on the big cities making service great and never pay any attention to the "outsiders" :(
