No big plans for the weekend. Lots of stuff to get done though.
Mowing, putting the hay in the barn - sounds like we are going to get up at 4a tomorrow to do it as the weather is gonna be really hot with high humidity and that will be the best time to get it done - and the standard weekend stuff (laundry).
New salad recipe that I think is amazing!
1 head of cabbage shredded, 1 head of cauliflower and 1 of broccoli chopped up in bite sized pieces, a bunch of green onions sliced, about 2-4 cups of red grapes (however much you like), 4 pieces of crispy cooked bacon crumbled.
For the dressing 1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, 1 1/2 cup miracle whip and enough milk to think it down to a consistency you like. Pour dressing over salad and mix up. I usually eat right then, but some folks say let it sit in fridge for a bit then eat as your bacon will get a bit soft and transfer the bacony flavor more. But whatever you like is good.
Trust me it is the best salad I've had in a while!
Have a good one!

That sounds like a great salad - it would be good for a potluck because it sounds like it makes a lot. I think more bacon might be necessary though.....btw the rest of them do Animal Wednesday, I did Friday because I missed Wednesday! ha ha ha
Do you use fresh parmesan cheese, or the stuff in the plastic tub?
sounds good. I may have to try it!!
Xoxox
Rose
you can use either Rose. I used the stuff in the can.
Of course I love the cat photo!!!!
Ohhhhh, that salad sounds excellent. I gotta try that, especially with bacon.
