Cherries Anyone?

Today was cherry picking day.

My pickers don't look too excited do they?

Oodles and oodles of delicious cherries.

We only picked two bowls and there are still tons left.
So, if anyone wants to come pick, feel free.

I forgot to take pictures of the jam process, but it was easy.
2 1/2 cups chopped cherries, 4 cups sugar, and 1 box sure-jell.
Let it sit 24 hrs, then freeze or refrigerate.
How easy is that?

You have cherry trees, cool. Are they sweet, like bing cherries or tart? Jam sounds good. I bet a cherry pie would be tasty.

I would come and pick if we were going to be home, but guess I'm out of luck. The cherry jam sounds delicious.

Your kids are cute even if they aren't enthusiastic about picking cherries. I've never had cherry jam before but I bet it's good. I think a cherry pie sounds great too.

Kellie!
what a lot of cherries on a small tree! I'm jealous. I finally have radishes to eat out of my garden, but thats it so far. we have had some great weather this summer, so the garden is doing great.
