This and that...

How I've managed not to get on the computer in the last week, I have no idea.

We've been busy running back and forth to the cities for doctors appts and physical therapy.

As of last Wednesday's xrays, Chyann's leg has grown 13 mm!
Which is friggin AMAZING!!

Will be interesting to see how much more growth we'll see on this Wed's xrays.

Physical therapy is not helping much/at all - not good.
It's looking like as long as she has the fixator on she will not be able to use crutches to walk.

Her pain is mostly controlled now. Not so much from the broken bone, but more from the muscle spasms due to the muscles stretching so much and a few pin sites are becoming irritated/infected due to the tearing skin.

I am planning on going back to work on Thrusday since my Mother will be here to take care of Chyann, but I have no idea how that is going to work.

And what is up with this big ASS storm? The Hubby took the truck to work this am and ended up pulling a bunch of people out of the ditch on his way. A nice neighbor just got done plowing out the driveway for us. Now Colton's girlfriend can go home - she got stuck here last night, literally and it took forever to get her out.

Random picture of Cowboy. Smart ponies were not all in the barn this AM when I went out to feed them.

I think I've got a solid pattern for making pants that will fit over the fixator (undies too).

Colton's band performance in Milwaukee on Saturday went well. The Hubby was very surprised to see a line of people outside waiting to get in.

I had to google 13mm, that's just over 1/2 inch! Wow! That's a lot of growing in such a short time.
Colton better not forget me when hes rich! I might need to hit him up for a few bucks. Glad that your mom made it before the storm hit.

Colton is awesome! I'm amazed there were people waiting in line too, his band must be pretty good. It's a good thing you gave him a cool name so when he's famous he won't have to change it. I'm happy for Chyann but still cringing as I read...words like tearing just sound so gruesome. I'm glad they've got the pain managed or the pony might just have to stay in the house.

I'm so far behind on my blog reading that I did not realize Chyann had surgery and is having growing issues at the same time or is it from the fixator? Either way, poor girl. My daughter grew 6 inches one summer and had growing pains so bad, and she did not have a broken bone to contend with. Hope all goes well for Chyann., she's such a sweetheart.
Cowboy is a cutie too, and it sure doesn't seem to bother the animals to be out in the elements, in fact, they seem to love it.
So, what did you come up with to fit over the fixator.
Stay warm and keep the faith.
Spring Will come.

Krissy I'm glad you did the googling, cause I was wondering how much 13mm was too!

It's so hard when our kids have health issues. I hope Chyann is done with this real soon. Physical therapy sucks. It's painful even when it doesn't work. Necessary but still painful. Hope she's done with that soon too.
