Must be sugaring time.
We don't tap our Maples, but apparently
the Hubby ran into this one with the truck over the
winter and smucked it up a bit.
How could he have ran into it you ask, well
he would say we live on a hill and leave it at that.
I will say that after cutting a load of wood he was trying
to back the truck up to the wood shoot and slid over
to tag that tree.
Anyhow...
Chyann noticed the sap was running and decided to
try catching it.

I agree, I love spring too!
I need to check out that tree! I wonder ig I have maples on my land. What are you going to make?
That is interesting! Is that a lot of sap for 24 hours? What kind of tree is it?
Yay for spring! Are you going to do something with the syrup she collected?
I believe I saw the dogs drinking it this afternoon, so no we don't have any plans for the syrup.
I just read your comment about the dogs and am dissapointed! I would have loved to see if Chyann could make syrup out of it. That is one amazing kid! I don't know your husband at all, but I'm guessing your story is closer to the truth!
